Erie County Crisis Text Hotline
Suicide prevention text line available Monday through Friday, 6 PM to 11 PM
24-hour helpline that provides school-age children, adolescents, and parents with immediate and confidential support and problem solving assistance for problems of every day living. Callers who talk of suicide, depression, drug and/ or alcohol use/abuse receive assessment and linkage to appropriate agencies
and community services. Specially trained counselors assist young callers to deal effectively with the many changes, frustrations, pressures, and decisions of the day to day experience of growing up. Also assists parents in dealing more effectively with the increasing stress and demands of raising children.

Call or text 988 for help and support with a mental health or substance use crisis
911 Emergency Services
Call for help for a medical, fire, or law enforcement emergency
Provides around-the-clock support and services to youth in crisis under the age of 18 and their families or caretakers. Mental health professionals will answer questions and concerns by phone and/or meeting with a youth and their parent
/ caretaker in their community or home. Program is meant to support families in resolving crisis situations in the home or community and help prevent future crises. An effective crisis plan will be developed with the family.
